Let's just say, if you've been anywhere on the DFW music scene from 2004 to now…you've seen The Assassin.
Sean broke into the DFW scene following his music studies at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas. He linked up with his good friend Mark Smith on the Cowboy Gospel Serenade Show on 95.9 The Ranch.
He followed that up, in his words, “I rocked the country and country'd the rock” in the Fort Worth Stockyards and Arts district with Don McRay and The Band, Texas Blend, and many others. Sean held it down with the blues master Rick Kelly following the release of, The Three Kings, playing with acts the likes of Josh Weathers, and Buddy Guy.
However, the Assassin's passion has always been rock and metal. He's torn it up with 1% Mentality, and Flem and the Flams.
Now, Sean is bringing the thunder with Disciples of Canis. Paired with “Tommy Rocker” Engel on vocals and guitar, Devin “RockerBoy” Hite on guitars and vocals, and TBD on bass and vocals, Sean “The Assassin” says he's found his home. “I love these guy's man. I feel like I’m right where I’m supposed to be.”
